Top Tips For Buying A Used Car

It is possible to get a great bargain when purchasing a used car, but on the other hand if you know very little about cars then you could end up with a “rust bucket” that won’t move from the side of the kerb. So how do know how to go about purchasing a good used car as opposed to a “rust bucket”? Here are some top tips to help you.

The first tip is to make sure that you test drive the car for at least 30 minutes. This should give you adequate time to get the feel of the car and test out all you need to. Check to make sure the lights work, test the handling and steering, make sure the engine idles smoothly and that there is no smoke coming from the exhaust. Make sure that the car isn’t pulling towards one side and that the brakes work effectively. Does the CD player or radio work? Is there a blind spot?

These are all things that you need to look at.

On the exterior of the car, always make sure that you perform the standard quick checks on the car. These should include checking for rust on the sills, wheel arches, suspension mountings and bottoms of the doors.

Check the door panels for body filler with a standard magnet and check the seals on the doors, windows and sunroofs.

Check to make sure that the mileage on the odometer is in line with the condition of the car. A good indication of this having been tampered with is excessive stone chips on the bonnet and grill and a worn gear knob or steering wheel. Also look for loose screws on the instrument panel as this could indicate it has been removed.

Finally, you could invest in a vehicle data check. This is a low cost way of checking a car’s history – and will definitely show up any skeletons in the closet if there are any.

How To Create A Fitness Plan To Reach Your Fitness Goals

Today, more people then ever are overweight, including children as well as adults. It seems that everyone realizes how important it is to stay fit and healthy yet reaching fitness goals is harder than ever to achieve. Just like any other accomplishment in life, reaching your fitness goals requires a carefully enacted plan. If you want to see your fitness goals become a reality, you will first have to devise a plan of reaching those goals and adhere to it.

One of the most common setbacks to reaching fitness goals occurs when one fails to stick to their plan. However, it is important to realize that setbacks will occur, and that no matter what happens it is vital to pick up where you left off and start working towards your goals again.

The fist step in creating your fitness plan is to assess what your goals are. You should also make sure that your goals are realistic. There are many fad diets and crash weight loss plans that will ensure that you lose weight rapidly, but these are not recommended as part of an overall fitness plan. You may find that it is beneficial to discuss your fitness goals with your doctor or health care provider to ensure that you create a plan that is realistic and tailored to your medical conditions or health care needs. Also, you should have your doctor or health care provider’s approval before beginning any fitness plan.

Once you have determined your fitness goals and have cleared these with your physician, you should begin implementing your plan. If you goal is to lose a certain amount of weight, then your plan should include the steps necessary to lose that weigh in a reasonable amount of time. You may be surprised to realize that losing weight is purely a scientific and mathematic formula. By increasing your exercise, and reducing your caloric intake, you can create a plan that will enable you to reach your goals safely and wisely. Further more, when you take the time to plan your fitness goals, you have a greater chance of keeping the weight off.

Flirting Tips for Men Who Want to Flirt Online

Flirting online is becoming hugely popular nowadays, and a lot of men enjoy it for the number of obvious reasons. First of all, it is easy to attract as many females as you want and chat with them simultaneously or in turns; second – you don’t really have to bother about what anyone really thinks about you. The choice is virtually unlimited, and you are free to cut the communication whenever you feel like. However, men who are habitually flirting online have commented that it is not always easy to attract and maintain a flirting relationship. You can move from failure to success fast using these flirting tips for men.

1. Humor is your biggest asset when you flirt online – use it whenever you can. This is a very important flirting tip for men both online and offline. Women love to maintain an ongoing relationship with a man who makes them laugh. In fact, some women have gone so far as to forgive their man’s infidelity, solely because they knew how to make them laugh. Employ your sense of humor to the fullest. It can never harm you.

2. Enjoy the session online – do not strain yourself in ‘catching’ the female. Rather you let yourself go and enjoy yourself. When you are natural, you become a great person to chat with, because you are at ease. Keep yourself relaxed – after all, everyone flirting online just wants to have a little fun, more than anything else.

3. Do not refer to any sexual acts – this is a great put off to women. Some men think than coming on strongly can impress a woman. Nothing can be further from the truth. Women find sexual talk online (and otherwise, too) as gross. Unless they are looking for a physical relationship, they will definitely cut it off. Learn to play with words whereby you can compliment her, without alluding to sex.

4. Listen to her carefully – a woman always loves a man who pays attention to what she says. Do not ignore what she comments to butt in your point of view. You will come across as a moron. If you do have an argument, keep it light and intermingle it with lots of humor – if you can, laugh openly at yourself. This is an excellent flirting tip for men – one, which has never failed yet.

5. The last important flirting tip for men says that you should not try to speed up things. Let the relationship simmer – and as it simmers, its intensity will grow. You will enjoy discovering your partner and she will enjoy knowing you.

How to Find an Affordable Exotic Car - No More Dreaming
I remember as a kid... Dreaming about flying down the road in a Lamborghini Countach LP 5000. It was "The Car" throughout the 80's and still held its crown into the 90's. Now days, Exotic Cars are a little more modern and have more of a "luxury" touch to them, unlike the older "beasts" that were uncomfortable, hard to see out of, underpowered A/C, not so great braking, but full of raw power. I remember eagerly watching "Miami Vice", only to see the Ferrari Daytona Spider and the beautiful Testarossa Crockett and Tubbs cruised around in, while hoping that there would be some sore of a "Super Exotic" like a Lamborghini Countach in each episode. And of course like most of you reading this, I did have about 3 Lamborghini Countach Posters tacked to my bedroom walls with other Lamborghini paraphernalia laying about...

My friend Reggie and I would regularly talk about the wonderful Lamborghini Countach while chasing each other around with our remote control cars and yes, they were Lamborghini Countach RC cars. We would often joke around and laugh about how... "One day, if we ever could actually afford a Lamborghini Countach, there's no way we could afford the insurance!" And so the dream lived on and two more young boys, out of the millions of dreamers like yourself, went on through life "dreaming", because there never was a way we could actually afford an Exotic Car. Well, guess what my friend... some times, Dreams come true.

It's now 2007 and I have owned two Exotic Cars and a handful of other drag cars and street cars. Without arrogance, mind you, I have seen what it's like to be a "regular Joe" one day and "Celebrity" the very next day. Because I am such an Exotic Car fanatic, I have spent many, many hours studying and talking to other Exotic Car owners. I have spend many days cruising around with other local Exotic Car owners and had opportunity to get to know some of them on more of a "good friend" basis which I still am very good friends with today. This is what I dreamed about as a kid... with his face planted on the living room floor, making "vroooom" noises while rolling his little "Hot Wheels" Lamborghini Countach faster than any other car in his entire collection.

Because of the "life changing" experiences, and yes, there have been MANY life changing experiences, from owning affordable Exotic Cars, I felt compelled to write a book, revealing the amazing prices that will have your jaw wide open when reading about them. I also I know there were millions of dreamers out there like me, who would love to see this childhood dream come true, but do not know where to find Exotic Cars they can afford. Some even try to fulfill their dreams with different Exotic Car Rental companies, blowing money away on something they will never own. I know... I have done the whole Exotic Car Rental thing too. In my book, "Buying an Exotic Car on a Budget", I also provide information on how and where to find affordable Exotic Cars. Other relative information, like insurance and details about individual Exotic Cars is also covered, because I know this may be the first step in seeing your childhood dream come true.

So what are the benefits from owning an Exotic Car? Well, I would have to write about 10 more articles to cover that type of information, but I tell you this... Business opportunities and high end networking await you when owning an Exotic Car. Personally, I just wanted an Exotic Car to drive and sit so low to the ground, surrounding cars appear to be SUV's, but I had no idea what kind of "Investment" owning an Exotic Car would be. This was and has been far beyond anything I could have dreamed as a child. Like I said, is has been so amazing, it drove me to write a book, so other dreamers like me can get the chance of a lifetime. So I invite you, to embark on an opportunity that will change your life and open doors, like you would never believe.

Thank you for your time. Now, don't let your dream, pass you by once again...

How to Avoid the Most Common Mistakes Men Make with Online Dating

If you're not having much success with online dating and you're a man, you're probably making the same mistakes over and over again. Here's how to avoid them and better your chances of finding a partner online!

Steps

Remember that when creating your profile, less is more. You want to stand out and be memorable without revealing too much. Keep your essays short, punchy, playful, and positive. Reveal enough personal detail to create a quick connection but not so much that you remove the mystery.

Upload 2-5 flattering, but accurate pictures. Resist the temptation to include out of date photos when you had 30% more hair and 20% fewer pounds.

Keep it real. Some readers will check your profile for accuracy at on online dating review site. And every other member will just avoid a second date if you weren't the man your profile presented you as.

As soon as possible, meet for coffee and a chat to see if you like each other. Forget about emailing for months and getting all worked up over email. The longer you leave it before you meet, the less likely it is to happen. Ask for a coffee date in the first two weeks of emails. This will save you a lot of time and energy and disappointments. If the other person doesn’t agree to meet, move on and don’t worry about it. There are plenty more.

Choose the time and place if you're making the invite. People tend to respect decisive partners. So decide/suggest the cafe, time and date. If the person can’t make it when you suggest, reschedule within reason. The person will get the impression that you are not timid and are comfortable making decisions. This is good, although being pushy, demanding, or adamant is not the image you want to convey, either; find that comfortable median.

Set your expectations low before the first date. By keeping your cool, you will stay on your game during the date, not complicate things with "high" expectations, and thereby avoid disappointment.

Be relaxed at the coffee date. Don’t mention past partners or that you haven’t been dating for a long time. Just have some fun and be happy.

Tips

Avoiding common mistakes will save you a lot of time, money, energy and focus with online dating. This will prevent you from quitting before you get the results you desire and deserve.

Online dating works for some and just doesn't work for others. There are other methods available for finding a mate.

Make the first date during a week night. This will suggest you have a life and are busy on the weekend.

Treat online dating in a similar manner as you would online shopping for anything. Often there is more than one product available. Don't be afraid to shop around. Many of them have a stable full of men with whom they are chatting.

If you are talking to several people at the same time, keep file folders for each person. Be sure to record details, for instance take notes of any favorite foods, or favorite colors to incorporate them later.

Be realistic about who you contact and expect that you will receive a small percentage of replies. Remember, for every woman on the site, there are 5 males.

Warnings

Pay careful consideration to the complications of browsing in interstate and overseas profiles. It’s tempting to go get in touch with someone who lives far away, but it might also be a complete waste of your time, energy and focus. If you are not ready or willing to start a long-distance relationship (which, if successful, may eventually require one of you to relocate), then only focus on and contact people in your immediate area.

There's a fine line between being decisive and pushy. Don't pressure anyone to do anything the person doesn't feel comfortable doing. There's no better way to ruin your chances.

Women aren't the only ones who need to be careful when dating online. Men should keep their eyes out for dangerous people as well.

Don't tie your emotional well-being to a keyboard and monitor. Be busy. One thing that makes a man desirable is what he does with his time. Are you a couch potato that spends hours at the keyboard, or do you lead a stimulating, interesting, active and healthy life?

How to Spend a Vacation in Los Angeles

There's plenty to do in Los Angeles in the summertime, from visiting museums, to playing at the beach. Here are some simple tips for making your stay a little easier and more focused.

Steps

Rent a car at the airport or come with your own. There is public transport, but it can be frustrating. Everything is too spread out for a taxi to be economical.
Be choosy about where to go in Los Angeles. It is a spread out city, which means that you need to take care to choose a part of town to stay in that will interest you most. Some suggestions are offered in the "tips".

Find a copy of the L.A. Weekly, a free paper which lists all the movies, nightclubs and shows.
Think about the type of places you'd like to visit. LA has a lot of choices:

The Science Museum and Natural History Museum (both near downtown)

LACMA, or the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (Wilshire District)

Farmers Market is a funky place to visit and get a bite to eat while you're in that area. It is on Third Street and Fairfax. It is also connected to The Grove, an outside mall with good stores, movie theaters and trolley.

Hollywood has lots of clubs and nightlife.

Melrose Street is a great stroll.

Beverly Hills and the west side have all the fancy shops and art galleries.

Warner Brothers Studios gives a great tour, as does Universal Studios in addition to the theme park there.

Take to the beaches. As for the beaches, Santa Monica is crowded. Nearby Venice boardwalk is great for people watching. On the other side of Santa Monica, the Malibu coast stretches out with lots of lovely beaches which might appeal to you for some sun and surf time.

Griffith Park is a beautiful public park near Hollywood and Los Feliz. It has a lot of trails, a carousel, horseback riding, a couple golf courses, tennis courts and the Greek Amphitheater.

Tips
Some of the places to stay include:

Santa Monica. It has great proximity to LAX, Venice, Brentwood and Century City. It has the Santa Monica pier, beaches and great shopping.

Pasadena is another good choice. It is far from the beach, but is in a lovely foothills location. The Gold Line takes you to downtown Los Angeles and Chinatown. There is beautiful Huntington Gardens, the Norton Simon Museum and the thriving Old Town Pasadena. Also, it is a short drive to the L.A. Zoo, Griffith Park and Warner Brothers Studios.

If driving, remember to carry meter change and parking garage money just in case. Avoid freeway madness. The best time to drive around is 11am to 2pm, or after 7pm.

Warnings

Always lock your car and don't leave valuables inside.

Wear a money belt, and/or distribute your credit cards and cash in different bags, or pockets, so if one is stolen, you won't be out of luck.

If driving around, study your map before hand, and try not to take freeway exits in areas which aren't your intended destination.
